Windows Filter Driver Development Kit (FDDK)

After many successful years, OSR has stopped actively promoting new licenses to our Filter Driver Development Kit (FDDK).  The FDDK was born amid an environment when little was know about Windows file systems, and even less about file system filtering.  However, with Microsoft’s introduction of the Filter Manager and the Mini-Filter Model, the venerable OSR FDDK has mostly been rendered obsolete.

This doesn’t mean that there aren’t still niche cases where the FDDK is not practical.  And, indeed, OSR is committed to providing support to the FDDK for existing customers.
